FOLK HOGAN

Folk Hogan is a five-headed folk-punk beast — banjo, mandolin, accordion, guitar, bass, and drums — blasting high-velocity anthems about drinking too much, loving too hard, murder, and laughing at the chaos. With four full-length albums and three European tours under their belt, they've built a reputation for a lively stage show that is, by most accounts, downright awesome. City Weekly put it plainly: "the band plays with an intensity that is almost exhausting to watch."
Whether on a festival stage or in a living room, Folk Hogan brings a mix of experienced entertainers, humor, and whiskey that keeps a crowd dancing while wishing they had a backup liver. The kind of band that makes sing-'til-you-bleed anthems feel like a completely reasonable way to spend an evening.
A note from your host: she went to middle school with members of the band — which means she's been watching their epic journey for a long time, and is thrilled to finally bring them to Heber City Limits.
