About David Burchfield
David Burchfield writes Americana that swaggers wildly through raw emotion within a meticulously written and arranged package. With connections to his indie folk, classic country, and bluegrass roots, Burchfield carves a unique path in the folk rock world with his powerful 5-piece, the Fire Guild. American Songwriter has said: "This type of solid songcraft would make Burchfield fit right in on a bill with the likes of Lucinda Williams or Jason Isbell." About Everett Rogers
Raised in a blue-collar suburb of Salt Lake, he began looking for ways to leave town well before he could drive, he found summer work in Utah’s mountains at the age of 14, something he would continue well into his twenties. Raised on old country and 70’s folk, he began playing the guitar that same summer. Those early years of living and working in the National Forests continue to shape his music to this day.
At 27, he became a father and decided to put aside his music career to be home for his two boys. Now grown, his sons are now pushing him as hard as anyone back into music. After two decades, singer-songwriter Everett Rogers is releasing his first album, a collection of songs that are steeped in patience. Each one refined over years of late-night living room sessions, waiting for the right moment to be heard.
When he isn’t making music, you can find him at the family cabin, the one he built himself, or standing in a river somewhere out West, in search of a little peace and quiet, and perhaps a few trout.
